गृहार्थी सदृशीं भार्यामुद्वहेदजुगुप्सिताम् । यवीयसीं तु वयसा यां सवर्णामनुक्रमात् ॥ ३९ ॥
gṛhārthī sadṛśīṁ bhāryām udvahed ajugupsitām yavīyasīṁ tu vayasā yāṁ sa-varṇām anu kramāt
Quien desea establecer la vida familiar debe casarse con una esposa de su misma casta, irreprochable y más joven. Si desea aceptar varias esposas, debe hacerlo después del primer matrimonio, en orden, y cada esposa debe ser de una casta sucesivamente inferior.
