Kali-yuga’s Degradation, the Advent of Kalki, and the Reset of the Yuga Cycle
According to this and the previous verse, the two great kings who will reestablish human culture after the end of Kali-yuga have already descended to the earth, where they are patiently waiting to render their devotional service to Lord Viṣṇu.
This verse says that at Kali-yuga’s end, two empowered persons will descend, instructed by Lord Vāsudeva, and will re-establish and spread varṇāśrama-based dharma as it was before.
Because the restoration of dharma is not merely social reform; it is guided by the Supreme Lord. The verse emphasizes that the future teachers act under Vāsudeva’s instruction, ensuring dharma is revived in alignment with divine intent.
By living responsibly according to one’s nature and stage of life—cultivating truthfulness, cleanliness, compassion, and devotion—while keeping bhakti to Vāsudeva as the guiding center of all duties.
