Bhṛgu Tests the Trimūrti; Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna Visit Mahā-Viṣṇu and Recover the Brāhmaṇa’s Sons
This verse depicts Sudarśana as blazing with overwhelming radiance, entering terrifying darkness and tearing it apart—teaching that the Lord’s power dispels ignorance, fear, and obstruction.
The comparison highlights irresistible divine force: as Rāma’s arrow pierces and routs an army, Sudarśana penetrates and destroys the dense darkness without impediment.
When life feels “dark” with anxiety or confusion, this verse encourages taking shelter of Bhagavān through prayer, remembrance, and sādhana—trusting that divine guidance cuts through inner darkness.
