Arjuna Marries Subhadrā; Kṛṣṇa Honors Two Devotees in Mithilā (Śrutadeva and Bahulāśva)
This verse shows that when Śrutadeva received Lord Kṛṣṇa, he became overwhelmed with spiritual happiness—bowing to the sages and spontaneously dancing—illustrating the natural ecstasy of pure devotion.
Janaka is celebrated as a spiritually exalted ruler; the comparison highlights that Śrutadeva’s inner realization and reverence upon receiving Kṛṣṇa matched the elevated devotion and dignity associated with Janaka.
Welcome the Lord through sincere worship and hospitality, honor saintly persons, and allow devotion to become heartfelt—expressed through humility, gratitude, and joyful remembrance rather than mere formality.
