Draupadī Meets Kṛṣṇa’s Queens — Narratives of the Lord’s Marriages and the Queens’ Bhakti
तद् रङ्गमाविशमहं कलनूपुराभ्यां पद्भ्यां प्रगृह्य कनकोज्ज्वलरत्नमालाम् । नूत्ने निवीय परिधाय च कौशिकाग्र्ये सव्रीडहासवदना कवरीधृतस्रक् ॥ २८ ॥
tad raṅgam āviśam ahaṁ kala-nūpurābhyāṁ padbhyāṁ pragṛhya kanakoijvala-ratna-mālām nūtne nivīya paridhāya ca kauśikāgrye sa-vrīḍa-hāsa-vadanā kavarī-dhṛta-srak
En ese instante entré en el recinto ceremonial; las ajorcas de mis tobillos tintineaban suavemente. Llevaba en las manos un collar resplandeciente de oro y gemas; vestía sedas nuevas y finísimas, ceñidas con un cinturón. En mi rostro había una sonrisa pudorosa, y en mi cabellera una guirnalda de flores.
Śrīla Śrīdhara Svāmī states that Śrī Lakṣmaṇā was so excited by remembering how she obtained the Supreme Lord that she forgot her natural shyness and went on to describe her own triumph.
