Nanda Mahārāja Celebrates Kṛṣṇa’s Birth; Vasudeva Warns of Danger
This verse shows that a revered sage is to be received with worship and respect; such proper hospitality sets the stage for auspicious spiritual guidance and blessings.
After being respectfully welcomed and asked about his welfare, Garga Muni—absorbed in thoughts of the two divine boys—begins speaking to Nanda to reveal their identities and future glories connected with the naming ceremony.
Cultivate reverence for saintly teachers, inquire respectfully, and listen attentively—because sincere reception of spiritual counsel invites clarity, blessing, and steadiness in bhakti.
