Rāsa-līlā Begins; Divine Multiplication; Moral Doubt and Its Resolution
This verse says the gopīs, overwhelmed by bliss from contact with Kṛṣṇa, could not properly adjust their hair, garments, or ornaments—showing the intensity of their absorption in Him.
Śukadeva is narrating directly to King Parīkṣit, honoring him as the foremost of the Kuru dynasty while describing the confidential Vraja-līlā.
It highlights wholehearted absorption in God: devotion becomes deep when remembrance of Kṛṣṇa naturally outweighs self-consciousness and external preoccupations.
