Transliteration

śrī-bhagavān uvāca mayā te ’kāri maghavan makha-bhaṅgo ’nugṛhṇatā mad-anusmṛtaye nityaṁ mattasyendra-śriyā bhṛśam

Translation

La Suprema Personalidad de Dios dijo: Querido Indra (Maghaván), por misericordia detuve el sacrificio destinado a ti. Estabas muy embriagado por tu opulencia como rey del cielo; por eso quise que siempre Me recordaras.
