The Vraja Elders Question Kṛṣṇa’s Identity; Nanda Recounts Garga’s Prophecy
हिन्वतोऽध: शयानस्य मास्यस्य चरणावुदक् । अनोऽपतद् विपर्यस्तं रुदत: प्रपदाहतम् ॥ ५ ॥
hinvato ’dhaḥ śayānasya māsyasya caraṇāv udak ano ’patad viparyastaṁ rudataḥ prapadāhatam
Una vez, cuando tenía apenas tres meses, el pequeño Kṛṣṇa yacía debajo de un enorme carro, llorando y pateando; y el carro cayó y se volcó simplemente al ser golpeado por la punta de su dedo del pie.
Śukadeva describes the cart’s movement in the Yamunā episode, where the cart-wheel strikes a fish lying below in the water, indicating the dramatic conditions around the vortex and the danger near the river.
