Mohinī-mūrti Distributes Amṛta; Rāhu is Severed; Results Differ by Shelter
This verse shows the devas requesting a just distribution of nectar so that no bheda (division) arises—highlighting dharma, fairness, and unity as safeguards against quarrel.
Seeing Mohinī-mūrti’s authority and impartiality, the devas appealed to her to divide the amṛta according to nyāya (justice), hoping to prevent disputes between devas and asuras.
When resources or recognition must be shared, appoint a trusted, principled mediator and follow fair rules—this reduces rivalry and preserves relationships.
