Forth from the stepping onward—if he be not ill-baked—(yea) from the well-heated, and from the cooked oblation, mount ye to the third heaven. Upon Agni hath Fire firmly come to be: win ye this luminous world for your portion.
Desde el avanzar del paso —si no está mal cocido—, desde lo bien calentado, desde la ofrenda cocida, subid al tercer cielo. Sobre Agni el Fuego ha quedado firmemente establecido: ganad para vosotros este mundo luminoso como porción.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (sūkta attributed in later indices to Atharvan/Angiras-type seers; exact r̥ṣi assignment depends on Anukramaṇī for AVŚ 9.5).
Devata: Agni; also the ‘luminous world’ (jyotiṣmat-loka) as goal-deity.
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence (edition-dependent; AV often shows mixed/irregular triṣṭubh in such svargya passages).
