Sukta 9

छन्दःपक्षे उषसा पेपिशाने समानं योनिमनु सं चरेमे । सूर्यपत्नी सं चरतः प्रजानती केतुमती अजरे भूरिरेतसा

chándaḥpakṣe uṣásā pepiśāné samānáṃ yónim ánu sáṃ careme | sū́ryapatnī sáṃ carataḥ prajānátī ketúmatī ajáre bhū́riretasā

On the wing of Metre, with Dawn waxing full, let us together follow unto the self-same womb. The Sun’s Consort—together they move—bringing forth, radiant-bannered, unaging, of abundant generative might.

En el ala del Chandas (metro), cuando Uṣas, la Aurora, se colma, sigamos juntos hacia el mismo seno. La Consorte del Sol—juntas se mueven—engendrando, de estandarte luminoso, sin vejez, de abundante potencia seminal.
