यत् पुरुषं व्यदधुः कतिधा व्यऽकल्पयन्। मुखं किमस्य किं बाहू किमूरू पादा उच्येते
yát púruṣaṃ vyàdadhúḥ katidhā́ vyà’kalpayan | múkhaṃ kím asya kím bāhū́ kím ūrū́ pā́dā ucyete ||
When they disposed the Puruṣa, and in how many ways they ordered him—what was his mouth, what were his arms, what were called his thighs and feet?
Cuando dispusieron al Puruṣa, y de cuántas maneras lo ordenaron: ¿qué fue su boca, qué fueron sus brazos, qué se llamaron sus muslos y sus pies?
