Sukta 4
परा यात पितरः सोम्यासो गम्भीरैः पथिभिः पूर्याणैः । अधा मासि पुनरा यात नो गृहान् हविरत्तुं सुप्रजसः सुवीराः
párā yāta pitaraḥ somyā́so gambhīráiḥ pathíbhiḥ pūryā́naiḥ | ádha mā́si púnar ā́ yāta no gṛhā́n havír áttum suprajā́saḥ suvī́rāḥ ||
Depart, O Fathers, soma-loving, by the deep paths, the ancient ways. Then, in the month, come ye again unto our homes to eat the oblation—ye of good progeny, ye of good heroes.
Partid, oh Padres, amantes del soma, por los senderos profundos, los caminos antiguos. Luego, en el mes, volved de nuevo a nuestras casas para comer la oblación — vosotros de buena descendencia, vosotros de buenos héroes.
