एतत् ते देवः सविता वासो ददाति भर्तवे । तत् त्वं यमस्य राज्ये वसानस्तार्प्यंऽ चर
etát te deváḥ savitā́ vā́so dadāti bhártave | tát tváṁ yámasya rā́jye vásānas tarpyáṁ cara ||
This vesture Savitar, the God, bestoweth unto thee for wearing. Wearing it, do thou in Yama’s kingdom move at ease, in due refreshment.
Este vestido te lo concede el dios Savitar para que lo lleves. Llevándolo, muévete en el reino de Yama sin estorbo, en la debida saciedad y alivio.
