अपूपवान् रसवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ
apūpavā́n rasavā́ṃś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutabhā́gā ihá sthá
Let the cooked offering, rich in cake and full of sap and savour, be set down here. We do sacrifice unto the World-builders, the Path-makers, who have their portion in the gods’ oblation: be ye here present.
Que aquí sea colocada la ofrenda cocida (caru), rica en torta sacrificial (apūpa) y llena de savia y sabor. A los Constructores de los mundos (Lokakṛt), a los Hacedores del camino (Pathikṛt), les ofrecemos sacrificio, a quienes les corresponde su parte en la oblación de los dioses: estad aquí presentes.
