तं राजा दूष्यद्रव्योपभोगातिसर्गेण दूष्ये विक्रमयेत् ॥ कZ_०५.१.०६ ॥
taṃ rājā dūṣyadravyopabhogātisargeṇa dūṣye vikramayet
The king should induce him to commit an overt transgression by making him use or take excessive quantities of tainted/forbidden goods, thereby rendering him liable as a ‘tainted person’ (dūṣya).
Create a prosecutable ‘taint’ by inducing the target to overuse/illicitly take forbidden goods, producing a pretext for action.
It converts a political threat into an administrative-legal liability, enabling removal under a public rationale.
