लम्भपालनो हि दण्डः कोशस्य कोशः कोशस्य दण्डस्य च भवति ॥ कZ_०८.१.५१ ॥

Transliteration

lambhapālano hi daṇḍaḥ kośasya kośaḥ kośasya daṇḍasya ca bhavati

Translation

El poder punitivo (daṇḍa), al asegurar las adquisiciones y proteger lo adquirido, se convierte en el tesoro del tesoro; y el tesoro, a su vez, se convierte en el tesoro del poder punitivo.
