लब्धलाभापगमने यस्यामित्रो लाभेन शक्त्या हीनः स पार्ष्णिग्राहोऽतिसंधत्ते यस्य वा यातव्यः शत्रोर्विग्रहापकारसमर्थः स्यात् ॥ कZ_०७.१३.२१ ॥

Transliteration

labdhalābhāpagamane yasyāmitro lābhena śaktyā hīnaḥ sa pārṣṇigrāho 'tisaṃdhatte yasya vā yātavyaḥ śatror vigrahāpakārasamarthaḥ syāt

Translation

Cuando las ganancias ya obtenidas corren el riesgo de perderse, el enemigo de retaguardia (pārṣṇigrāha) “se excede/aventaja con artimañas” (atisaṃdhi) contra un rey cuyo enemigo ha quedado debilitado en recursos y poder a causa de esas ganancias; del mismo modo, se excede cuando el objetivo al que el rey pretende marchar (yātavya) es capaz de perjudicar a ese objetivo mediante guerra y actos hostiles.
