सप्तार्तवप्रजातां वरणादूर्ध्वमलभमानः प्रकृत्य प्राकामी स्यात् न च पितुरवहीनं दद्यात् ॥ कZ_०४.१२.०८ ॥

Transliteration

saptārtava-prajātāṃ varaṇād ūrdhvam alabhamānaḥ prakṛtyā prākāmī syāt; na ca pitur avahīnaṃ dadyāt

Translation

Si, después de elegirla, un hombre no obtiene a una doncella que ya ha comenzado a menstruar y ha alcanzado siete menstruaciones, se le considera, por regla, con derecho (prākāmī). Y no debe hacérsele dar nada que disminuya lo debido al padre (es decir, sin deducción/retención indebida contra el padre).
