Agni Purana, Chapter 259: Yajur-vidhāna

यदा बधून्दक्षायणां मन्त्रेणानेन मन्त्रितम् सहस्रकृत्वः कनकं धारयेद्रिपुवारणं

yadā badhūndakṣāyaṇāṃ mantreṇānena mantritam sahasrakṛtvaḥ kanakaṃ dhārayedripuvāraṇaṃ

Cuando una novia del linaje de Dakṣāyaṇa (es decir, una doncella Dakṣāyaṇī) haya consagrado el oro con este mantra, recitándolo mil veces, debe llevar ese oro como amuleto protector contra los enemigos.
