FAQs

Ayurvedic dravyaguṇa knowledge: it catalogs key aromatic medicinal substances (spices and scent-drugs) by plant-part (bark, leaf, bud, fruit) for use in formulations.

It demonstrates the Purana’s nighaṇṭu-like (materia medica) coverage—preserving practical pharmacological inventories alongside theology, ritual, and statecraft.

Though primarily medical, such pure aromatics and drugs are traditionally linked with bodily purification and sattvic regimen, supporting clarity for worship, vows, and disciplined living.
