प्रथमायां तु मात्रायां यदि प्राणैर्वियुज्यते । भरते वर्षराजासौ सार्वभौमः प्रजायते ॥१२॥

IAST Transliteration

prathamāyāṃ tu mātrāyāṃ yadi prāṇair viyujyate | bharate varṣarājāsau sārvabhaumaḥ prajāyate ||12||

Translation

If, in the first mātrā, one becomes separated from the vital breaths (that is, dies), that person is born in Bhārata as a king of the land, a universal sovereign.
