ārādhitā'sau bhīmena kṛtvā kṣetrasya rakṣaṇam | mahānavamyāṃ yatnena yastāṃ pūjayate naraḥ | taṃ putramiva kalyāṇī rakṣate nātra saṃśayaḥ
She was worshiped by Bhīma after he undertook the protection of the sacred field. Any man who, with care, worships her on Mahānavamī—Kalyāṇī surely protects him like her own son; of this there is no doubt.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Kauraveśvarī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Bhīma, having taken up the protection of the sacred field, worships Kauraveśvarī; later devotees worship her on Mahānavamī and receive her motherly protection.
Sincere festival-day worship (with yatna) draws the Goddess’s maternal protection and steadiness in dharma.
Kauraveśvarī’s sacred locale within Prabhāsakṣetra, framed as a protected ‘kṣetra’ associated with Bhīma.
Worship of Kauraveśvarī on Mahānavamī with special care and devotion.
