अज्ञाता पतिना मात्रा तथान्यैरपि बांधवैः । कृष्णपक्षं समासाद्य विजने हृष्टमानसा
ajñātā patinā mātrā tathānyairapi bāṃdhavaiḥ | kṛṣṇapakṣaṃ samāsādya vijane hṛṣṭamānasā
Unnoticed by her husband, her mother, and the other relatives, she would choose the dark fortnight (kṛṣṇa-pakṣa) and, in a secluded place, go about with a delighted mind.
