Transliteration

sa sadā rātriśaucārthaṃ kapālaṃ jalapūritam | madīyaṃ śayane cakre tatra kṛtvā nijāṃ kriyām

Translation

“He would always, for his nightly purification, fill a skull-bowl with water. After performing his own observance there, he would place it by my sleeping place.”
