candra uvāca | paraṃ kṣīṇo'smi deveśa yakṣmaṇāhaṃ padāṃtikam | prāptastasmātparitrāhi nānyatsaṃprārthayāmyaham
Candra said: O Lord of the gods, I am utterly weakened; by yakṣmā I have been brought to the very brink. Therefore, save me—I ask for nothing else.
