श्रीभगवानुवाच । मयात्रैव सदा स्थेयं रूपेणानेन वासव । सर्वलोकहितार्थाय ह्रदे पुण्य जलाश्रये

Transliteration

śrībhagavānuvāca | mayātraiva sadā stheyaṃ rūpeṇānena vāsava | sarvalokahitārthāya hrade puṇya jalāśraye

Translation

The Blessed Lord said: “O Vāsava, in this very place I shall ever remain, in this form, for the welfare of all the worlds—here in this lake, the sacred abode and refuge of holy waters.”
