Transliteration

mayā cāsya pratijñātaṃ saptadvīpavatīṃ mahīm | prabhramiṣyāmyahaṃ yāvanmedhyatvaṃ tvamupeṣyasi

Translation

“And I pledged to him that I would roam over the earth with its seven continents until you attain purity, fit for sacred rites.”
