Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 33
वृक उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव यदि देयो वरो मम । पाददानं तदा देव मम ब्रह्मन्समाचर । पंगुता याति शीघ्रं मे येनेयं ते प्रसादतः
vṛka uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | pādadānaṃ tadā deva mama brahmansamācara | paṃgutā yāti śīghraṃ me yeneyaṃ te prasādataḥ
Vṛka said: “If you are pleased with me, O God, and if a boon is to be granted to me—then, O Lord, O Brahmā, bestow upon me the gift of feet (grant me sound feet), so that my lameness may quickly depart by your grace.”
