ये पुनर्मानुषा विप्र निष्कामाः श्रद्धयान्विताः । स्नानमात्रं करिष्यंति ते यांति परमां गतिम्
ye punarmānuṣā vipra niṣkāmāḥ śraddhayānvitāḥ | snānamātraṃ kariṣyaṃti te yāṃti paramāṃ gatim
But those people, O brāhmaṇa, who are free from selfish desire and endowed with faith—if they perform even the mere act of bathing (at this sacred ford), they attain the highest state.
