अवध्यतामात्मनश्च पितामहवरोद्भवम् । महेश्वरं समुद्दिश्य कोपं चक्रे ततः परम्
avadhyatāmātmanaśca pitāmahavarodbhavam | maheśvaraṃ samuddiśya kopaṃ cakre tataḥ param
Thereafter, having (come to believe in) his own invincibility—arising from the boon of the Grandfather (Brahmā)—he directed his wrath toward Maheśvara, and then became exceedingly enraged.
