तथान्यानि च तीर्थानि यानि संति धरातले । तानि कीर्तय कार्त्स्न्येन परं कौतूहलं हि नः
tathānyāni ca tīrthāni yāni saṃti dharātale | tāni kīrtaya kārtsnyena paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ
“And likewise, whatever other holy tīrthas exist upon the earth—recount them in full, for our curiosity and longing to know are great.”
Ṛṣis (Sages)
Tirtha: All earthly tīrthas (general request)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Sūta
Scene: Sages gesture expansively as if encompassing the whole earth; behind them, symbolic icons—river, mountain, temple spire—float like a sacred atlas awaiting narration.
The dhārmic mind seeks completeness in sacred knowledge, treating tīrthas as living channels of merit (puṇya) across the earth.
None individually; it is a broad request to describe all tīrthas.
No explicit ritual; the impulse is toward tīrtha-yātrā through knowing and honoring tīrtha names.
