तदद्य दिवसः प्राप्तो दीपोत्सवसमुद्भवः । सुपुण्योऽत्र ममादेशात्त्वं कुरुष्व सुकूपिकाम्
tadadya divasaḥ prāpto dīpotsavasamudbhavaḥ | supuṇyo'tra mamādeśāttvaṃ kuruṣva sukūpikām
That day has now arrived—the auspicious occasion from which the festival of lamps arose. Therefore, by my command, establish here a fine little well (kūpikā), highly meritorious in this place.
