तदहो भारतं खंडं सत्यायुषि त्यजेद्धि कः । अहमेव दृढो मन्ये पितृभ्यां यो विवर्जितः
tadaho bhārataṃ khaṃḍaṃ satyāyuṣi tyajeddhi kaḥ | ahameva dṛḍho manye pitṛbhyāṃ yo vivarjitaḥ
Ah then—who would abandon the land of Bhārata while life still truly remains? I alone, I think, am the steadfast one—bereft of both parents.
