unnatena valībhājā sāvartenāpi kukṣiṇā | vaṃdhyā pravrajitā dāsī kramādyoṣā bhavediha
But if the belly is raised, laden with folds, and marked by an inauspicious turn, that woman here is said, step by step, to become barren, then to leave the household, and then to become a maidservant.
Skanda
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A cautionary teaching scene: the sage enumerates inauspicious signs and their feared consequences; disciples appear sober; the Gaṅgā and a distant liṅga shrine suggest refuge and remedy despite ominous talk.
The verse uses social outcomes as moral warnings, urging steadiness in gṛhastha-dharma and the pursuit of auspicious living.
Kāśī is the narrative frame of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, but no particular tīrtha is singled out in this line.
None; it is a lakṣaṇa-phala description.
