Verse 1
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said: “Then, O best of kings, one should go to the supremely beautiful tīrtha called Ayonija, of great merit, the destroyer of all sins.”
Verse 2
At Ayonija, one should bathe and worship Parameśvara. Having performed worship of the ancestors and the gods, one is freed from all stains of wrongdoing.
Verse 3
At that tīrtha, whoever, according to proper rule, gives up life—O great king—never again beholds the “door of the womb,” that is, is not reborn.
Verse 114
End of the adhyāya: “Chapter”.
