trivaktro yo hi rudrā kṣaḥ sākṣātsādhanadassadā | tatprabhāvādbhaveyurvai vidyāḥ sarvāḥ pratiṣṭhitāḥ
That Rudrākṣa which is three-faced is ever a direct bestower of the means of sādhana. By its very power, all branches of sacred knowledge become firmly established in the aspirant.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Rudra
Role: teaching
It teaches that Rudraksha is not merely symbolic; it is a Shaiva support for sādhana that stabilizes the seeker’s inner clarity, so that sacred knowledge (vidyā) becomes steady and fruitful.
Rudraksha is treated as a manifest aid connected to Rudra (Saguna Shiva). Wearing it supports devotion, purity, and disciplined practice that culminate in Linga-worship and inward orientation toward Shiva.
Wear or use the three-faced Rudraksha as part of daily Shaiva sādhana—especially japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), along with disciplined conduct—so knowledge and realization become established.
