काम्यकर्मविभागः — Taxonomy of Kāmya (Desire-Motivated) Śaiva Rites
क्रियामयं तथा भिन्नं होमदानार्चनक्रमात् । सर्वशक्तिमतामेव नान्येषां सफलं भवेत्
kriyāmayaṃ tathā bhinnaṃ homadānārcanakramāt | sarvaśaktimatāmeva nānyeṣāṃ saphalaṃ bhavet
Action-based worship—distinguished as the ordered practices of homa (fire oblation), dāna (charitable giving), and arcana (ritual adoration)—bears fruit only for those endowed with full spiritual power; for others it does not become truly fruitful.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Offering: dhupa
It teaches that outer ritual action (kriyā) becomes truly effective only when supported by inner spiritual potency—purity, devotion, discipline, and Shiva’s grace—otherwise the act remains merely external and yields limited results.
Linga-arcana and other Saguna forms of worship bear higher fruit when the worshipper’s inner power—steady bhakti, right intention, and alignment with Shiva as Pati—is present; without that, the ritual form alone does not culminate in transformative realization.
Perform homa, dāna, and arcana in correct order with inner preparation—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), disciplined conduct, and devotion—so that the ritual is empowered and spiritually fruitful.
