Meditate upon the Lord as One whose power never diminishes—whose nature is absolute freedom, and whose energy is infinite. Then, having sought the Deity’s permission, perform the rite for Him with the consecration vessels beginning with the Sadyaḥ (Sadyojāta) kalaśa.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
It affirms Śiva as Pati—the supremely independent Lord whose Śakti never declines—guiding the devotee to contemplate His infinite power before beginning worship, aligning ritual with right metaphysical understanding.
It frames Linga/Saguṇa worship as a reverent approach to the transcendent Lord: one meditates on His boundless, undiminishing Śakti and then proceeds with formal consecration using kalashas, treating the Deity as a living presence whose consent is ritually sought.
Meditate on Śiva’s svātantrya (absolute freedom) and ananta-śakti (infinite power), then begin abhiṣeka/arcana with kalasha-consecrations starting from the Sadyojāta (Sadyaḥ) vessel, after ritually requesting the Deity’s permission.
