Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga account; the verse articulates a cosmological kinship: devas acknowledge dependence on pitṛ lineage, reinforcing the dhārmic circuit of offerings and continuity.

It emphasizes dharmic order and sacred reciprocity: by accepting responsibility and protection, one becomes a ‘father’ in a spiritual sense, reflecting how grace and duty reshape relationships under Shiva’s cosmic governance.
In Saguna Shiva devotion, relationships (father/son, protector/protected) are seen as expressions of Shiva’s ordered cosmos; honoring Shiva through Linga worship supports dharma, which in turn sanctifies such bonds and responsibilities.
A practical takeaway is to strengthen dharmic responsibility with daily Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Shiva-puja (water offering to the Linga), cultivating the protector’s mindset implied by ‘fatherhood’.
