शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)

There, all beings—Devas, Asuras, and the rest—arrived in a festive spirit. Even all the Pramathas, wherever they were stationed, came to that place.

The verse highlights the irresistible pull of Śiva’s sacred presence: when a divine event connected to Rudra unfolds, all orders of beings—Devas, Asuras, and Śiva’s own gaṇas—are drawn together, indicating Śiva as the inner Lord (Pati) who transcends divisions and gathers all around dharma and auspiciousness.
Such “festive gathering” scenes typically frame Saguna Śiva’s manifest activity—where His attendants (Pramathas) and cosmic beings assemble around a holy locus. This supports the Purāṇic emphasis that approaching Śiva through visible, worship-worthy forms (like the Liṅga and His gaṇas’ service) anchors devotion and reverence.
The takeaway is to cultivate ‘sotsava-bhāva’—devotional joy—by joining communal Śiva worship: recite the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), offer bilva leaves, and remember Śiva with gratitude, as the gaṇas do in service-minded attendance.
