कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
मुखावलोकनादेव ज्ञात्वा वृत्तांतमन्यतः । दक्षादयश्च स्रष्टारः स्थानं पत्नीं च ते ददुः
mukhāvalokanādeva jñātvā vṛttāṃtamanyataḥ | dakṣādayaśca sraṣṭāraḥ sthānaṃ patnīṃ ca te daduḥ
Merely by beholding his face, they understood the true account, even from other sources. Therefore Dakṣa and the other creator-lords bestowed upon him an honoured station and also a wife.

The verse highlights the Shaiva principle that darśana (sacred seeing) conveys immediate spiritual recognition: by perceiving auspiciousness and inner purity, the wise understand the truth and then act to establish dharma through rightful status and household order.
It reflects saguna-bhakti logic: Shiva’s grace is accessible through tangible encounter—darśana of the Lord (or the Linga as His visible form) awakens certainty in the heart, leading devotees and leaders alike to honour and align life with Shiva’s will.
The takeaway is darśana-centered worship: approach Shiva (especially the Linga) with reverence, perform simple pūjā with mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and cultivate inner purity so that right understanding and dharmic action naturally arise.
