FAQs

It identifies Shiva as the primal cause and as pure Consciousness (cit), declaring Him the changeless Supreme who stands beyond the limiting categories of nature (prakṛti) and the individual soul-principle (puruṣa), guiding the seeker toward liberation through right understanding of Pati (the Lord).

The Liṅga is revered as the sign of the formless, changeless Brahman-Shiva described here; Saguna worship (form, mantra, ritual) is a supported means to approach and realize the Nirguna reality—Shiva as pure Consciousness beyond all modifications.

Meditate on Shiva as nirvikāra (unchanging) Consciousness while repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and perform simple Liṅga-upāsanā (water/offerings) with the intent of realizing Shiva beyond prakṛti and ego-bound individuality.
