दक्षस्य तपः तथा जगदम्बायाः प्रत्यक्षता — Dakṣa’s Austerities and the Direct Manifestation of Jagadambā
ततो यमादियुक्तस्य दक्षस्य मुनिसत्तम । जगदम्बा पूजयतः प्रत्यक्षमभवच्छिवा

Then, O best of sages, as Dakṣa—endowed with yama and the other disciplines—was worshipping Jagadambā, Śivā, the Divine Mother and consort of Śiva, became manifest before him in visible form.

It teaches that when worship is joined with inner discipline (yama and related observances), the Divine Mother’s grace becomes tangible—culminating in pratyakṣa darśana, a direct experience of Śiva-Śakti’s presence.
The verse highlights saguna upāsanā—devotional worship leading to a visible manifestation. In Shaiva practice, the same principle applies to Linga worship: disciplined devotion invites the Lord’s and Śakti’s grace to be experienced directly in the heart and in sacred presence.
It implies combining ethical restraints (yama) with steady pūjā and mantra-japa—such as the pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—so that devotion is supported by purity, restraint, and focused contemplation.
