There, all of them remained in comfort, attending upon Śaṅkara as was fitting. Honoured by Girīśa, the Lord of the Mountain, they were endowed with many kinds of auspicious prosperity.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
It highlights that contentment and auspicious results arise when devotees remain near Śiva with reverent service; grace (anugraha) follows sincere attendance upon Pati, the Lord who uplifts the bound soul (paśu).
The verse emphasizes direct devotional attendance upon Saguna Śiva (Śaṅkara/Girīśa). In practice, the same attitude is expressed in Liṅga-pūjā—serving the Lord through offerings, reverence, and steadfast presence.
Adopt the spirit of seva in daily worship: perform Liṅga-abhisheka, apply tripuṇḍra (bhasma), chant the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and maintain respectful attendance (upacāra) as an offering of devotion.
