The verse highlights dharmic hospitality as a form of bhakti: serving and satisfying others with proper arrangement and sincere offerings becomes an act that purifies the mind and supports devotion toward Pati (Shiva).
Just as Saguna Shiva is worshipped through upacharas (offerings and respectful attention), the same devotional attitude is extended to Shiva’s devotees and guests—service (seva) mirrors ritual worship and strengthens reverence for the Linga-centered path.
A practical takeaway is upachara-seva and anna-dana: arranging a clean place, offering food and suitable items with mantra-mindedness (e.g., remembrance of Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a devotional discipline.
