पार्वतीवाक्यं—शिवस्य परब्रह्मत्व-निरूपणम्
Pārvatī’s Discourse: Establishing Śiva as Parabrahman
कल्याणरूपिणस्तस्य सेवयेह न किं भवेत् । किं न्यूनं तस्य देवस्य मामिच्छति सदाशिवः
kalyāṇarūpiṇastasya sevayeha na kiṃ bhavet | kiṃ nyūnaṃ tasya devasya māmicchati sadāśivaḥ
By serving Him whose very nature is auspiciousness, what good could fail to arise here? What could be lacking in that Divine Lord, that Sadāśiva should desire me?

It declares that Shiva is inherently kalyāṇa (pure auspiciousness), so sincere Shiva-sevā inevitably yields spiritual welfare—inner purification, removal of bondage, and readiness for Shiva’s grace.
Serving the auspicious Lord points to Saguna worship—approaching Shiva through accessible forms such as the Śiva-liṅga—where devotion becomes the means for receiving Sadāśiva’s compassionate choosing (anugraha).
The takeaway is steady Shiva-sevā: daily liṅga-pūjā with pañcākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and a bhakti attitude, trusting that worship of the kalyāṇa-svarūpa Lord cannot be fruitless.
