Then, O beloved, one should worship daily according to the method described earlier; and one should offer arghya to the Liṅga—presenting the arghya-water upon its top.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva

Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
It emphasizes nitya-arcana—steady daily worship—as a Shaiva discipline that purifies the pashu (bound soul) and turns devotion into a consistent means of grace, culminating in closeness to Pati (Shiva).
The Liṅga is the accessible (saguṇa) focus for worship of the transcendent Shiva; offering arghya at the top of the Liṅga expresses reverence and surrender, treating the Liṅga as the living presence of the Lord in ritual form.
Perform daily Liṅga-pūjā as taught earlier in the chapter and offer arghya-water to the crown of the Liṅga; while offering, one may inwardly maintain japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") as the devotional support.
