युद्धकाण्डे द्विनवतितमः सर्गः — Indrajit’s Fall, Rama’s Embrace, and Sushena’s Battlefield Healing
अपूजयत्कर्म स लक्ष्मणस्यसुदुष्करंदाशरथिर्महात्मा ।बभूवहृष्टोवानरेन्द्रोनिशम्यतंशक्रजितंनिपातितम् ।।।।
śrutvaiva tu mahāvīryo lakṣmaṇena indrajid-vadham |
praharṣam atulaṃ lebhe vākyaṃ cedam uvāca ha ||
Hearing at once from Lakṣmaṇa of Indrajit’s death, the great hero (Rāma) was filled with incomparable joy and spoke these words.
Rama, the great son of Dasharatha, praised Lakshmana and others for the very difficult deed performed by them. Vanara leaders were very happy with the victory over Indrajith struck down and fallen.।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēdvinavatitamassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the ninety second sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.

Rāma hears the confirmed news that Indrajit has been slain by Lakṣmaṇa and is moved to speak.
